Albert Celebration tickets are on sale
WARREN - Tickets are on sale for the second annual Helen L. Albert Celebration "You Will Never Be Forgotten," scheduled for March 30 at the Hippodrome in Warren.
Hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 each and include dinner. Doug Franklin, who will become Warren mayor in January, will be the keynote speaker. Guests will include author Jeanne Bryner and representatives from the Youngstown Black Nurses Association, among others.
Integrity Beauty National Ambassadors will be recognized for the 2012 year. This program, sponsored by Integrity Beauty Women of Excellence, was created to continue the legacy of Helen L. Albert, the first African-American registered nurse in Trumbull County.
